Getting stuff done

August 23, 2007

Yesterday i got 4 vaccinations and some passport photos for the school. I also helped my friend Rolland paint his kitchen in his house with Jessica last night. When i woke up today i felt miserable. I found myself tossing and turning losing sleep through the night. My whole body aches and it hurts to do anything. My first guess is that my body doesn’t like those vaccinations that much. I can understand my harms being sore, however my whole body hurting. I don’t know. In spite of the pain, today is an awesome day and I thank Jesus for it. May Jesus be lifted up and praised today.

overcast

August 22, 2007

Jesus is so amazing. Today is so awesome.  My parents have driven up from Arizona to visit my brother and I for a week or two.  Its been so great to see them seeing how the last time i saw them was at Christmas.  Jesus is keeping me strong.  Just over a month until i leave for New Zealand.  I’m excited even with time flying so fast.  Prayer is so important for this whole trip and the more prayer the better.  Today is overcast but the air is fresh and I’m excited for what this day brings.  May Jesus continue to build humility in me.

paint

August 7, 2007

Today is such an amazing day. Its kinda dreary and rainy outside but it doesn’t bother. Last week i began to memorized the book of Philippians. My goal is to have the whole book memorized by the time I leave for New Zealand. Last Saturday i did some painting inside a house and yesterday some yard work pulling up weeds to help raise money for my ywam. Jesus has been so amazing. He has given me opportunities to raise money as well and encourage me when the time to leave is drawing near. Tonight is going to be so awesome. I’m making my awesome stir fry.

the Letter

August 1, 2007

Yesterday we printed out the support letter for our mission team. WhooHoo!! So excited about that. They look so awesomely amazing. Later in the day Nate, Mimi, and I went over to Jessica’s to stuff and address envelopes with the support letters. All of them are sealed and ready to be addressed. I had some coffee this morning that my buddy Rolland made. So good. I had a cup of it. A cup. I said hi to my friends that are framers this morning. They’re putting up the framework to the house next door. I see them kinda like neighbors now because every morning before work i get to talk to them for a bit. Thats pretty sweet. Jesus is so awesome. Today is beautiful and the air is fresh.
